RF Microneedling in Montreal (Lutronic INFINI)

Reimagine Clinic offers RF microneedling in Montreal using the Lutronic INFINI an advanced, nurse-performed treatment designed to remodel skin from deeper layers for visible improvement in acne scars, deep scarring, texture, and wrinkles. By combining microneedling with radiofrequency energy, it supports collagen renewal and skin tightening for smoother, firmer-looking skin over time.

How Does RF Microneedling Rejuvenate Skin?

If you’re looking for RF microneedling in Montreal, Reimagine Clinic offers nurse-performed Lutronic INFINI treatments designed to target deeper concerns like scars, deep acne scars, and deep wrinkles as such.

Normal Microneedling vs. RF Microneedling (Infini)

  • Traditional microneedling: Uses needles to create micro-channels that trigger collagen production, mainly improving texture, pores, and fine lines.

  • Infini RF Microneedling (RFM): The next step beyond traditional resurfacing spares the upper epidermis and directs energy into the dermal and fibroseptal layers, leading to scar remodelling and skin tightening. It can reach up to 3.5mm depth, which is deeper than typical microneedling devices, making it especially effective for deep acne scars and deeper wrinkles.

What Skin Concerns Does Microneedling Target?

RF microneedling can improve acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and mild skin laxity. It’s also a popular option for skin resurfacing when you want smoother, firmer, more even-looking skin with minimal downtime.

The main concerns RF microneedling treats is deep scars and acne and scars and deep wrinkles with it’s 3.5mm in depth.

What Does the Procedure Involve?

Your provider cleanses the skin, applies a topical numbing cream, then uses the device to deliver precise microneedling with radiofrequency energy at customized depths. The treatment is quick and minimally invasive, and the settings are tailored to your main goals such as texture refinement and scar improvement.

What’s Recovery Like?

Most people experience redness, warmth, and mild swelling right after treatment. Downtime is typically short, but your skin may look “flushed” for 1–3 days and feel dry/tight as it recovers.

What About Safety and Side Effects?

RF microneedling is generally well-tolerated when performed by trained nurse with appropriate settings. Temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, and pinpoint marks can occur; careful aftercare and sun protection reduce the risk of irritation and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

we’re here to answer all your RF microneedling questions

Regular microneedling relies on mechanical injury to trigger collagen. The Infini adds Radiofrequency (RF) energy. This heat “shrink-wraps” the collagen fibers and creates a more robust healing response.

The device uses “Flow Needling” technology to insert 49 microscopic needles into the skin. Once at the target depth, it releases a burst of RF energy. Because the needles are insulated (except at the very tip), the heat stays deep in the dermis, preventing surface burns and making it safe for all skin tones

  • Acne Scarring: Particularly deep “ice pick” or “boxcar” scars.

  • Skin Laxity: Sagging skin around the jawline and neck.

  • Texture & Pores: Reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.

  • Fine Lines: Especially around the eyes and mouth.

To be candid: it’s spicy. Because the Infini reaches depths of up to 3.5mm, a strong topical numbing cream is applied for 15 minute prior to the treatment.

Most patients see significant results after 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Severe acne scarring may require 5 or more sessions.

Infini is famous for “hidden” downtime.

  • Day 1: Redness and swelling (looks like a moderate sunburn).

  • Day 2-3: A “sandpaper” texture on the skin and slight grid marks.

  • Day 4-7: Skin returns to a normal color; roughness flakes off.

You might notice a “glow” within a week, but the real magic happens deep down. Collagen remodeling takes time. The most dramatic improvements usually appear 3 to 6 months after your final session.

For acne scars, the results are generally permanent. For skin tightening and anti-aging, the results are long-lasting, but they won’t stop the natural aging process. Most people do a “maintenance” session once a year.
